Color Hunt is developed by Can Bi. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information.

The Short Version

Color Hunt does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers. Everything stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no ads.

Data Collection

Color Hunt does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• No account creation or login
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising or ad identifiers
• No third-party SDKs or services that collect data
• No cookies or similar technologies

The only network activity is Apple’s StoreKit for optional in-app purchases (Pro subscriptions, Lifetime unlock, and tips). Purchase processing is handled by Apple; we do not receive your payment card details.

Data Storage

All data you create in Color Hunt — photos, color collections, daily challenge progress, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device using a local database and file system. This data is never uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere.

If you delete the app, all your data is permanently removed with it. Pro users may also delete all data from the Settings screen.

Optional Pro backups are written to a folder you choose, such as a folder in Files or iCloud Drive. If you turn on Automatic Backup, the app writes that backup once a day when you open it. Where the file then travels is decided by the folder you picked and by the service that holds it. We do not receive your backup files, and the app has no server to send them to.

Device Permissions

Color Hunt may request the following device permissions:

• Camera: Used to capture photos for color hunting. Photos are processed and stored locally on your device. No images are uploaded or shared.
• Photo Library (Save): Used only when you choose to save a photo to your photo library. This permission lets the app add photos, not read them.
