Film Camera is developed by Can Bi. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information.

The Short Version

Film Camera does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers. Everything stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no ads.

Data Collection

Film Camera does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• No account creation or login
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising or ad identifiers
• No third-party SDKs or services that collect data
• No cookies or similar technologies

The only network activity is Apple’s StoreKit for optional in-app purchases (Pro subscriptions, Lifetime unlock, and tips). Purchase processing is handled by Apple; we do not receive your payment card details.

Data Storage

All data you create in Film Camera — including photos (original and processed), film roll recipes, albums, location metadata, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device using a local database. This data is never uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere.

If you delete the app, all your data is permanently removed with it. You can also delete all data from the Settings screen at any time.

Device Permissions

Film Camera may request the following device permissions:

• Camera: Used to capture photos with analog film effects. Camera data is processed on-device and never transmitted.
• Photo Library (Save Only): Used to save your processed photos to your device's photo library. The app requests write-only access and does not read or browse your existing photos.
• Location (When In Use): Optionally used to tag your photos with location data. Location information is stored locally with the photo and is never transmitted.
