Photo Feed is developed by Can Bi. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information.
The Short Version
Photo Feed does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers. Everything stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no ads. Your photos never leave your device.
Data Collection
Photo Feed does not collect any personal data. Specifically:
- No account creation or login
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No advertising or ad identifiers
- No third-party SDKs or services that collect data
- No cookies or similar technologies
Network activity goes only to Apple, never to us:
- Apple’s StoreKit, for optional in-app purchases (Pro subscriptions, Lifetime unlock, and tips). Purchase processing is handled by Apple; we do not receive your payment card details.
- Apple Maps services, for map tiles and turning photo coordinates into place names. See the next section.
Apple Maps Services
Maps features in Photo Feed are provided by Apple. The following send information to Apple’s servers:
- Map display. Viewing the map loads map tiles from Apple for the area you are looking at.
- Place names. When a photo already has location coordinates from the camera that took it, those coordinates are sent to Apple to get a place name back (for example city and country). The photo itself is never sent. Photos without location data are not looked up. If the lookup fails or you are offline, the photo is shown without a place name.
Apple acts as the map provider under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not receive, see, or store any of this request data.
