Censor Photo is developed by Can Bi. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information.

The Short Version

Censor Photo does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers. Everything stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no ads.

Data Collection

Censor Photo does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• No account creation or login
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising or ad identifiers
• No third-party SDKs or services that collect data
• No cookies or similar technologies

The only network activity is Apple’s StoreKit for optional in-app purchases (Pro and tips). Purchase processing is handled by Apple; we do not receive your payment card details.

Data Storage

All data you create in Censor Photo — redaction preferences, export quota counters, Pro entitlement cache, tip counters, and related settings — is stored exclusively on your device using a local database. Photos you import or export are processed on-device; we do not upload them.

Working images and brush strokes exist only in memory during an editing session and are not persisted as a cloud project.

If you delete the app, all your data is permanently removed with it. You can also delete all data from the Settings screen at any time.

Device Permissions

Censor Photo may request the following device permissions:

• Photo Library (Read): Used to import photos and screenshots for redaction, and to show recent local thumbnails. Only images you select (or that appear in the recent strip) are accessed. No photos are uploaded or shared with us.
• Photo Library (Add): Used to save exported, redacted images back to your photo library when you choose Save. Only explicitly exported files are written.
