QR Kit is developed by Can Bi. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information.

The Short Version

QR Kit does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers. Everything stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no ads.

Data Collection

QR Kit does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• No account creation or login
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising or ad identifiers
• No third-party SDKs or services that collect data
• No cookies or similar technologies

The only network activity is Apple’s StoreKit for optional in-app purchases (Pro subscriptions, Lifetime unlock, and tips). Purchase processing is handled by Apple; we do not receive your payment card details.

Data Storage

All data you create in QR Kit — scans, created QR codes, favorites, titles, notes, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device using a local database. This data is never uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere.

If you delete the app, all your data is permanently removed with it. You can also delete all data from the Settings screen at any time.

Device Permissions

QR Kit may request the following device permissions:

• Camera: Used to scan QR codes and barcodes in real time. Camera data is processed on-device only and is never recorded or transmitted.
• Photo Library: Used to scan QR codes from existing photos and to save QR code images you create. Only the selected image is accessed. No photos are uploaded or shared.

These permissions are optional. The app works without them, though some features will be limited.
