Map Diary is developed by Can Bi. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information.

The Short Version

Map Diary does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers. Everything stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no ads.

Data Collection

Map Diary does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• No account creation or login
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising or ad identifiers
• No third-party SDKs or services that collect data
• No data transmitted over the internet
• No cookies or similar technologies

Data Storage

All data you create in Map Diary — locations, photos, notes, and lists — is stored exclusively on your device using a local database. This data is never uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere.

If you delete the app, all your data is permanently removed with it.

Device Permissions

Map Diary may request the following device permissions:

• Location Services: Used to show your position on the map and to automatically look up the address when you save a new location. Your location data is processed on-device only and is never transmitted.
• Camera and Photo Library: Used to let you add photos to your saved locations. Photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded or shared.

These permissions are optional. The app works without them, though some features will be limited.
